I have a Canon MP 620 printer which I think is a great device but it does tend to use a lot of ink (or maybe I just print a lot) so having the 3 pack makes it easy to be ready for when I need to.

What can I say? Canon ink for a Canon printer? Of course this is a good idea. Some of the generic inks with this newest generation of printers measuring picoliters can clog up the print heads. This ink and the printers it’s used in are some of the best Canon has produced. This cartridge seems to last longer than the previous printer I had that uses the CLI-8 ink. I am very pleased with the output quality of this ink.
And this is one of the best prices available for original Canon ink.

Before I ordered this item, I called to make sure that it was an OEM vs. generic version. I placed the order on 1/26/09 and the item was delivered on 1/31/09. Although I haven’t opened the package, the box indicates that it’s an OEM from Brother. So, perhaps Amazon has corrected the problem.
Also, someone posted this tip for another Brother printer cartridge, but it works on the TN360 as well.
The Toner Life LED flips on, requiring you to replace the cartridge, even when there’s still toner left in the cartridge. The machine detects end of life by shining a light through from one side to the other.
To circumvent the detection mechanism, remove the cartridge and put a piece of masking tape over the clear opening/circle on the right side of the toner cartridge, and then pop the cartridge back in. Eventually, you’ll start seeing streaks, and then you’ll know that the cartridge is truly empty.

I spent so much $$$ on buying these toner cartridges but I just found a neat trick to extending your toner life. The printer is great but the toner light comes on way too early.
You can fix the problem by covering up the “sensor” on the toner cartridge with some white paper labels. There are lots of “how to” videos on youtube that you can find or you can go to [...] (that’s the best one I found).

Excellent product. I suggest to readers that you consider using OEM products for printers. I screwed up my Canon printer using an off brand. You may go for some years with no problems using off brands and save some heavy duty money and it will pay for itself. However, if your printer fails early on because of off brand you are a loser. I have a good printer and will just pay the extra dollars. Some of my off brands were empty. Some would not work and the last batch dorked up my printer for good, reasonable price and worth it!!

I moved up to a MP620 from a previous Canon printer. While I’ll admit with the previous post that the ink wells are smaller, but they also use less drops of ink than my older model and gives out a MUCH better picture. And if you install the software that comes with the MP620, it will pop up showing a low cartridge, then click the exclamation above the tank, it will give you the part number needed. You can even click the ‘about ink’ button and will give you a nice large printable list of the ink part numbers.
I’ll admit I still use local print shops for large quantities of 4×6 images, but single 4×6 or any other I can print with very pleasing results.
NOTE: The Canon Photo print software gives a more true to life color than either Photoshop or Lightroom. I know something needs to be changed in the Adobe software, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

These cables worked great for me…I’m getting 1080p@24hz no problem. My setup is a Samsung 52″ LCD TV (LN52A650) and a Playstation 3. Save yourself a whole lot of money and don’t get ripped off buying “Monster” or any other overpriced HDMI cable. Order processing, USPS shipping, and receipt in Texas was lightling fast(7 days). Order 2 while you’re at it…someday you’ll need another one!

Ok so I am a girl and I am not much of a techie but I didn’t want to spend $100 on an HDMI cable. I came to Amazon and read a lot of the product reviews.

I first purchased the the HDMI cable from ClearAV, it was inexpesive and not the best product. It cost me a little over $4 for the item and S&H. I tested it on my upconverting Panasonic DVD player on 1080i resolution on my 40″ 1080p Samsung LCD TV but it had poor signal quality and the cable was not an HDMI version 1.3. So when I played my DVDs the picture would go on and off and so would the sound and there was a flashing line on my screen. Then I thought maybe I need to get another cable but still was not willing to pay $100.

I continued to do my research and realized that not all HDMI cables were created equal So I decided to try my luck again with the MEDIABRIDGE : “Premium 6ft 1.3b Category 2 Super High Speed HDMI Cable – 1080p – PS3 – Blu-Ray.” THIS CABLE IS THE REAL THING : the true HDMI version 1.3b Category 2 certified (whatever that means but sounds like a really good thing) which can be used with blu-ray or PS3 and will give you great 48-bit color. I paid a little under $7 for everything i.e for the item and S&H. The first thing I noticed was that it has the “HDMI” embossed on the cable; might not mean much but I thought it was note worthy. Second, the cable was thick and sturdy unlike the regular one I previously purchased. Third, apparently it’s gold plated, I don’t know how to prove this but it sure looks shiny

OK so I got the product 2 business days later from MEDIABRIDGE( I was so happy it arrived promptly), I tried it last night and everything was perfect. I didn’t have to wiggle the cable to see if I could get a better signal, audio and picture quality. Just plugged everything in and one, two, we were in business. I even did my Core Secrets workout with all the movements and I still got perfect picture and sound. I should have just paid $2 extra to begin with for a better quality product…take it from me…I’m girl with not much knowledge on such stuff but I know a great product when I see one.

Hopefully it will last me a long time I’m off to do my research on the Play Station console, I am curious to see how much better Blu-Ray picture quality is…no sense in buying an expensive Blu- Ray dvd player when I can just get the game right?

I purchased this in January, 2009 to add some additional value to my Netflix subscription. It has far surpassed my expectations, and has proven to be one of the best $100 I have spent in a long time. This is true especially in a down economy.

Here are the pluses, and the minuses, I have seen in the product after 2 months of daily use

Pluses:
1) Huge money saver: Having this box has allowed me to drop from 3 disks unlimited to 1 disk unlimited as well as drop cable entirely. The addition of Amazon on Demand is an even bigger value in that newly released movies will also be in abundant supply.
2) Ease of Set-up and use: I am a die hard apple fan because of their ease of use, and the set-up process was the easiest I have ever experienced. In less than 4 minutes I was watching a Netflix stream on my Sony HD TV. Also, the user interface is as straightforward as possible. A lot of thought went into it, and it shows. Bravo for one of the simplest interfaces I have ever utilized.
3) Clarity of picture: Unsrupassed and almost full HD. Often forget we are streaming over the internet.
4) It just works as advertised!
5) Customer Service: Video was skipping and contacted the customer service. You would never believe that a real live person answered the phone within 5 minutes on a Sunday night. Turns out it was a nework problem (see below). Amazing customer service!

Minuses:
1) The quality of your picture is tied to your internet speed. This has only been an issue once. My Charter Cable modem service averages above 4 meg downstream, but every once in a while the network performance drops. A call to charter fixed it. This is in no way an issue with the device, just something to be aware of. Check with your service provider on your speed before buying.
2) Direct Ethernet connection recommended for best picture: This is a limitation of my wireless network, but you may also have a similar set-up. My laptop has a G wireless card, and when it gets online the whole network slows down, and wireless video quality suffered. Solved it by using a direct ethernet connection, and recommend for everyone who is able to. Much more stable and very limited intereference.

That is my review to date. If you have Netflix and want to get Amazon on Demand there are few things that will be a pleasure to use and that will provide as much bang for your limited dollars. Thank you Roku, Netflix, and Amazon for such a wonderful product.

This little box rocks. I have killed of all but my local channels on cable. This may have been the best $99. I have spent in years. My sons and I use it everyday. At first I was concerned about content, but there are like 12000 things to choose from…We have watched season 1,2 and in the process of season 3 of Heroes. You have no idea how cool it is to see shows like this with no commercials. Tons of movies to choose from. I really like the fact that the company has more than delivered on what they promised. I bought the box to add to my Netflix and now I can get amazon video on demand as well, and it didn’t cost anything for the upgrade. How often has that happened…I am getting a ton more than I paid for. LOVE IT and pleased with cheap price and high qualities-technology.

OK – here’s the story. I was going to buy a Toshiba HDTV. I had picked it out already and was ready to purchase it and that was when I found a promotion at a local retailer that if I bought a Toshiba HDTV then I can get $200 off of any of the Toshiba HD DVD players. The HDA2 was normally $399 but was on sale for $299 and with the $200 off I got it for $99!! You can’t beat that!

Well, I got that on Tuesday and it was an unexpected purchase. I asked the person at the store how much the HDMI cable would be so that I can hook it up as soon as I get home. He said, it’s a Monster Cable and it costs $124.99! Whoa! I went up to the shelf and saw the sticker that said $124.99 on it and on the sticker it said “Financing Available”! What?! I’m not going to pay more for the cable than I did for the DVD player! These guys are crazy!

I told the guy “You are nuts if you think I’m going to pay that amount” and I logged onto Amazon and purchased this HDMI cable I’m doing the review for. I paid, with shipping, less than $9 for it. I was a little worried about it though – I’m sure that there must be a difference between the $124.99 cable and the $9 cable. So, I took the test. I went and purchased the $124.99 cable (mostly because I was too anxious to try out the new HD DVD player and couldn’t wait for it to arrive). I plugged it in and of course the HD DVD I played looked absolutely amazing! The very next day I got the $9 cable (pretty fast shipping by these guys by the way) and I hooked it up. I was worried what I would find but when I started watching the same HD DVD that I watched the night before on the $124.99 cable I could notice NO DIFFERNCE WHATSOEVER between the two cables’ results. So I returned the $124.99 cable.

You will not be sorry if you purchase this cable over the other ones in the major retailers. Don’t let them tell you “it’s a better quality cable” or anything like that. This cable is built very well – you can just tell when you hold it in your hand that it was made well. You don’t get the fancy plastic packaging that you have to tear into with a knife and cut your fingers on though (oh what a bummer!). Get this cable. It’s great!, cheaper more than other website and best qualities that I want it!

The only thing you will want to research is that I have seen in some literature that there are two different kinds of cables. I think there is a special one for 1080p DVD players (dont’ quote me on this). So do your research before purchasing just to make sure that this is the correct “type”. As far as build quality – picture quality, for use with an upconverting DVD player as well as the Toshiba HDA2 HD DVD player, it’s an absolute steal.

HDMI is a digital signal. That means it’s all or nothing–not like analog where you may have degradation due to signal loss, crosstalk, radio frequency interference, etc. As long as you have a decent HDMI cable to transmit the digital bitstream from point A to point B, you’re set. I just purchased the new Sony Bravia S-series 32 inch LCD TV. To go with it, I trashed my old Apex with the missing remote and got a deal on a Sony DVP-NS70H upconverting DVD player that can synthesize “extra” lines of resolution. The player can send 720p or 1080i signal to the TV. (Current DVDs are 480p; that standard will change eventually with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.) I knew that the upconversion feature only works through a digital connection, so I’d need to get an HDMI cable. Started checking prices and, no surprise, they were all over the place. Some were in the $100 range. Despite mild skepticism, I decided to try the cheapest one. This little beauty arrived in 3 days in a plain brown wrapper and a clear plastic bag. The cable is surprisingly robust, with nice build quality, supple insulation, and good connectors. I started to feel vindicated. So I plugged it in, put Harry Potter in the DVD player and WOW!! The DVD player and TV did their magic. Spellbindingly great picture and sound. I haven’t tried a component analog connection–those cables are REALLY expensive and quality matters more there–so I can’t compare component versus HDMI. Bottom line: this is an unbeatable price performer for around $10 incuding shipping. And no, this is not an April Fools joke.

I ordered two of these headsets for use by my wife and myself while playing World of Warcraft on our PCs. We had just recently gotten voice chat via Ventrilo set up and working, and we wanted to upgrade to headsets to replace our basic speakers-and-desktop-mic setup.
Both headsets worked great right out of the box. The sound output quality is fine, both for the voice chat and the Warcraft game sounds and music. Our teammates reported that the microphone sound quality was fine as well.
The headset earpieces are small, but include some cushioning. (They definitely fit “on” the ear, not “around” the ear.) I had some ear discomfort after wearing the headset for over an hour, but it was very slight — definitely mild enough not to be a distraction. Adjusting the earpieces forward a bit on my head (so they didn’t rest directly on my ears as much) helped.
The headband is adjustable to fit various head sizes. Both my wife (5’6″ with a normal head size) and myself (6’3″ with a large head size) were able to adjust our headset to have it fit comfortably.
The end of the microphone is slightly “bendy,” and thus the microphone’s position can be fine-tuned as desired. The entire microphone stalk can also be swiveled up to be parallel to the headset’s headband, to move it up and out of the way.
The hardware interface (at the end of the cord) is two standard sound plugs (that will fit standard PC sound cards) — one for the sound output jack, and one for the microphone jack. The cord itself is a nice length, plenty long enough to plug into a PC sitting on the floor under a desk and reach the head of the user sitting on a chair at the desk.
I’m sure there are better headsets out there, but I’d say that this is an excellent headset for the price for anyone looking for an entry-level headset.

If you want value for your money, if you lose your headphones too often, if you wear out the cord, or plug on your headphones, these are the ones to get. I have a couple of MP3 players I use at work daily and with them I wear my headphones constantly. I either lose or wear them out whether they are more expensive or cheaper. I was absolutely startled at the bass that came our of these phones. It is deep, rich and accurate. Overall sound is better than a pair I once had that cost me about 10 times as much. Knowing that I would either wear them out or lose them I bought 4 pairs this time. I will definitely buy more when the need arises. An excellent deal, I highly recommend these phones.

These are the best portable headphones in this price range. Good bass and smooth, natural sound. In fact they would probably still be the best bang for the buck at three times the price. If you can afford more, consider the Sennheiser PX100 for about 40-50 dollars. But if you’re on a budget or don’t want to worry about losing or breaking a more expensive pair of headphones, these are definitely the ones to get.

… I purchased this item to remove some debris off my camcorder lens and found it to do the job very nicely.
The microfiber texture feels nice – a little beady, but soft and textured.
Using it was easy, I just wiped the lens in a circular fashion with light pressure and eventually the debris was gone. (some fingerprints and what appeared to be a scratch but wasn’t)
The packaging is a little subpar though. It comes in a plastic bag which you tear open at the bottom to slide the cloth out. However doing so leaves adhesive residue, which the cloth then sticks to and you have to tear it off, making those sections of the cloth appear phyically different – a bit roughed up I’d say. This is poor design as the packaging says to store the cloth inside the bag when not in use to avoid contamination, so I used a scissor to cut the bottom of the bag with the adhesive residue off.
I’ve yet to machine wash it, but so far it works well. It’s just a cheap lens cleaning cloth after all.

I probably never would have considered purchasing this cleaning cloth without having it recommended to me in an article about Treo 650 (smartphone) accessories.
Using anything other than a cleaning cloth designed for these sensitive surfaces can lead to scratches and permanent damage.
I carry it in my laptop case and use it almost daily, both to remove the oily residue left by my fingers that quickly builds up on my Treo’s touchscreen, but also to keep my laptop computer screen sparkling.

I bought this to clean my LCD monitor because fingerprints highly annoy me, but I use it to clean and dust everything around because it does such a great job dry without cleaners or anything and so it takes just a few seconds. Cleans lenses, monitors, surfaces, etc. with no scratches. It really holds on to dust and dirt. Wash it every once in a while, especially if you clean up particularly abrasive dust for some reason. Shaking it out outside works fairly well for regular dust, too, and lets you know how effective the thing is.

Alarm rings for a maximum of 20 seconds and is a little weak if you are wrongly planning on using it as an alarm clock. While its hour- and minute hand glows in the dark for a while, the watch itself does not have a light button. Remarkably, in dark conditions you are still able to see the white hands on the black background. The color of the watch is not as pitch black as shown in the advertised picture, but rather a dark dark gray that looks black in dark conditions and dark silverish in bright conditions. The line in the middle of the wrist band is polished and reflects light just like chrome (or a mirror). In contrast, both edges of the wrist band are a FLAT dark gray. The whole watch looks very expensive!
This watch is definitely a nice designed, good quality watch with very nice features (which will be hardly used). It’s an all-around watch as well, looking formal, yet also sporty. It’s look is unmatched, as is also its color.
For under $200 (MSRP $400) this is a great watch to own. There are watches, and then there is THIS watch.

I checked it out online at several sites, and saw other Tag Heuer watches in local shops for lots more money. I decided that this one was probably best for me, and I love it! I get lots of compliments on the beauty of my new watch, and I love that it keeps accurate time in the smallest detail! No more being late….. And the price here was excellent – I saved hundreds of dollars…..

Of Course you can get a watch that keeps time as well as a Swiss watch at a much cheaper price but you can tell the difference in quality. Tag Heuer and this watch has a quality comparable to Omega. It really is an elegant watch and the right balance of not too big but not too small. Elegant but not glitzy a la Palm Springs. It looks in place dining or everyday and will last a long time. If you can get this at Amazon (when available and not always) you will get the best price. The Tag Heuer web site has stated:
“TAG Heuer does not sell authentic TAG Heuer watches on the Web. Therefore, a watch purchased on the Web from any other retailer may be counterfeit, damaged, tampered with, or contain inferior parts.”
However, because of this Amazon does offer a 2 year warrenty since the Tag Heuer warrenty card is missing when you get the watch (gray market). Four stars because of this.
